Common Name: Oliver's Maple

Acer oliverianum displays an attractive reddish palmated lobed, shiny gristly leaves in spring that turn dark green in summer then finally change to crimson in autumn. The smooth green bark with white waxy stripes appear to be flaky. It flourishes in full sun to full shade, drought tolerance and prefers moist, well-drained soil. Acer oliverianum is an excellent tree for specimen and rock garden.
