Common Name: Banshosho Black Pine
Banshoho' is a flat-topped dwarf that grows broader than tall. Twelve-year-old trees of this variety are typically five feet wide by three feet tall. It has pretty, light green foliage, and an abundance of buds, giving way to a very dense specimen. The needles appear to lighten as they get closer to the bud, which gives the impression of a lot of eyes.
