Common Name: Burgandy Blanketflower
An outstanding gaillardia that displays masses of vivid, 4 inch deep burgandy daisy-like flowers dipped in radiant yellow. Very prolific and highly scented. Renowned for its free-flowering habit and uniformity. Blooms from summer through fall. Dark green foliage is slightly hairy that enhances the loveliness of this hybrid. Remove spent flowers for continued bloom. Irresistible to butterflies. This striking cultivar received an award in All American Selection in 2005. It perfectly grows in full sun exposure but tolerates partial sun in any moist, rich, well-drained soil. Drought tolerant. Suitable for borders, rock gardens and sunny beds.
