A moderately growing perennial that grows at about 12 inches tall and 15 inches wide. It bears numerous canary yellow flowers above dark green, lanceolate leaves from early summer to mid summer followed by 4-winged seed pods. Slightly fragrant. It does well in full sun to partial shade conditions in a wide range of rich, moist, fertile soil with average drainage. Drought tolerant. This cultivar is very suitable as rock gardens or softening the edges of pathways.
