Common Name: Maroon Fir

Abies 'Marocana' is a cultivar of fir tree known for its ornamental qualities. It's likely a hybrid or selection of Abies (fir) species, possibly originating from Morocco, hence the name 'Marocana'. New growth bright green small needles in spring through early summer. Grows at a fairly slowe rate, reaching 10 ifoot tall and spread 5's wide in 10 years in tight, narrow upright form.Thrives best in full sun but tolerates partial shade. Performs  best in rich, moist, well-drained soil. Moracan Fir is a great choice for any accent.
