Common Name: Twilight Prairie Blues False Indigo
Twilight prairie blues false indigo is a moderately growing cultivar that grows 60 inches tall as well as width in dense, rounded bushy habit. It displays dark violet flowers with vibrant yellow keels above its striking blue-green foliage. The flowers are very attractive even from distant. This hybrid stands out in late spring through early summer and introduced by Jim Ault at the Chicago Botanic Garden. It performs well in full sun to partial shade conditions in rich, moist, well-drained soil. Very ideal for foundation, border or container.
