Barney’ is a dwarf selection of Turkish fir, prized for its compact size, excellent needle color, and superior cold hardiness compared to many other firs. It performs well in northern climates and is an outstanding choice where space is limited. With Short, thick needles with a rich dark green upper surface and distinct silvery-white undersides, giving the plant a subtle two-tone appearance. Needles are soft to the touch and tightly arranged, creating a very full look.
