
Common Name: Evergreen Azalea
One of numerous hardy large-leaved rhododendrons developed by Anthony Shammarello of Euclid, Ohio, this hybrid of R. catawbiense 'Album' bears large spherical trusses of white funnel-shaped blooms in mid- to late spring. Each flower has a bold yellow blotch on its upper lobe. The large vigorous upright plants have long leathery dark-green leaves.
