Common Name: Rocky Mountain Bristlecone Pine
A perennial,evergreen slow-growing upland pine tree that grows in rocky mountains in western part of the United States, that measures 16-49 ft tall with 4 ft wide. It has a dense branches with fissured rust-brown bark and short needle bunches of five and thorn-tipped cone scale. It grows in loam soil in a full sun exposure. Flowers were yellow and it blooms in summer time.
