A globose form featuring thin, stiff, bright green short needles with stunning brown cones. The pollen cones form compactly at the base of the candles making this conifer a stand out. The cones become brown when mature, giving an aged appearance and eventually form a broad pyramid. Best grown in full sun exposure in moderate moisture, well-drained soil. Pinus green candles is ideal for rock gardens, foundations, specimens and hedges.
