This is the latest to bloom and generally the most vigorous and upright-growing of the PJM clones. Flowers are the usual lavender-pink in early spring. Very cold hardy and heat tolerant. Elite is known for its vigorous growing that features clusters of beautiful lavender-pink flowers in early spring to late spring. Individual flowers are funnel-shaped. This stunning, rounded shrubs are compactly wrapped in dark green, lustruous foliage turning reddish purple in autumn. It grows perfectly with the presence of partial to full sunlight in a wide range of rich, moist, well-drained soil. This variety normally reaches 5-6 ft high and 5-6 wide in rounded growth habit. Ideal for mass planting, specimen, shrub borders, mixed borders, woodland garden, foundation and shade garden.
