A compact, upright clump forming herbaceous perennial that reaches 18 inches tall at maturity and spread 24 inches wide. It has vibrant violet-purple blossoms with purple stems and undulated, lance-shaped fragrant pale-green leaves in early summer through fall. This striking hybrid attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. It needs full sun exposure to cultivate well in rich, moist, well-drained soil.
